With all the rumors about Rick Ross being a Correctional Officer, he continues in my opinion to make good music but damn I hope thats not him in those pics. Anyhow you can check out his new single, "Mafia Music," here. Listen closely towards the end, Ross throws a shot at 50 Cent. I really don't think 50 is jealous of Rick Ross.

Rick Ross speaks to on-air radio personality Miss Info of New York's Hot 97 and responds to G-Unit's 50 Cent. The radio interview of Rick Ross actually came before 50's latest video attack against Rick Ross in which the rapper appears on video with Rick Ross' baby mama.

As previously reported, 50 Cent brought out Rick Ross' baby momma Tiallondra “Tia” Kemp to NY who spilled the beans on Ross such as stating that the rapper rents his jewelry and more. Along with 50 Cent's interview, he was hugged up with Tia, and took her and a friend on a shopping spree.

According to a statement by Rick Ross which was made in the radio interview, it seems that Rick Ross was well aware that his son's mother was planning the interview with 50 Cent and here's what he had to say.

Looks like Rick Ross' expected sophomore album, “Trilla,” has been pushed from it's release date of December 18th to February 19th.

According to reports, after his first single, “Speedin” featuring Robert “R. Kelly” failed because of performance, his label (Def Jam) has opted to wait it out and give more time to simmer.

Do you hear, back to the lab?

Ross' previous album “Port of Miami” managed to sell more than 720,000 copies in 2006.

It seems like he just needs to stick with his old crew of producers and stop the speedin and cruise this time around.

Hip Hop Dx caught up with Rick Ross where he shed some light on upcoming projects he is working on with Birdman:

“Me and Birdman are working on an album and a movie at the same time,” Ross told Hip Hop Dxyesterday from his traveling tour bus. “We just feed the streets. Me being a fan of the hustle – the grind, [Birdman and I] have the same attitude and hunger coming from streets. He feels the same about me, you already know. We just went in the studio for the hood.”
